The deceased was born in Locke Township, southwest of Wakarusa, July 11, 1863, the daughter of Henry and Magdalene (Kilmer) Ritter. Her husband died 9 years ago.
Surviving are 5 children, Grover Swarm of Elkhart, Mrs Viola Moore of Dunlap, Walter Swarm of Mishawaka, Herbert Swarm, who lives on the Swarm homestead, and Mrs Mabel Thompson of Chicago; 13 great grand children; a brother, Walter Ritter of Lawton, Mich, and a sister, Mrs Lucy Johnson of Elkhart.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 1:30 pm at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Olive Mennonite church, of which the deceased was a member. The Revs Clarence Shank and D A Yoder were in charge. Burial, in the adjoining cemetery.
