Mrs Florence Mable Thompson, 77, 1717 1/2 Miller St, Elkhart, died at 2 pm Wednesday, Feb 6, at the Turtle Creek Convalescent Center, Elkhart, where she was a patient for three weeks. Death was due to ailment complications.
Mrs Thompson was born in Wakarusa Oct 1, 1896, to Jacob and Alice (Ritter) Swarm.
She married Theodore Thompson June 10, 1930.
Surviving with the husband are two sons, Carlisle Ervin and Richard Moore, both of Elkhart; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb 9, at 1 pm at the Lienhart Funeral Home with the Rev Eugene Coffman officiating. Burial was in Olive Cemetery.
