Margaret Hays was the 5th of 13 children of John Thomas & Susan Jane Pilcher Dulin, born at what was later Ritchie Co., WV (then VA).

Margaret married David C. Hill, Jr. on 19 Jan 1882 in Ritchie Co. Two of her sisters, Emma A. & Lucy J. Dulin, married two of David's brothers: George W. & John W. Hill).

One of David & Margaret's children, daughter Nora V. Hill, only lived to 11 months and 13 Days of age, and is buried in Dulin's Graveyard, Wirt Co., WV.

Margaret is buried near her sister, Emma A. Dulin Hill, and a number of their kinfolk in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg, WV.
