Thaddeus, whose given name is also spelled "Thodius" in some family Bible records, was the 11th of 13 children of John Thomas and Susan Jane Pilcher DULIN. He died at 7 months and 15 days of age, as seen on the fallen gravestone's inscription. The inscription also bears the verse: "Sweet babe thy spirit now hath rest / Thy sufferings now are o'er / Secure in thy Redeemer's breast / Thou'lt reign for evermore."
