He had lived in the New Washington area all his life and was a self-employed farmer. He was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church and the Knights of
Columbus, both in New Washington.
Surviving are his wife, Rosalie Frisch; three daughters, Mrs. James (Gertrude) McPherson of New Washington, Mrs. Gary (Rita) Strecker of Bellevue, and Mrs. Paul (Marilyn) Stahl, New Washington; four sons, Eugene of Republic, Robert of Willard, Charles and Walter of New Washington; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence, Henry and Sylvester, and one infant sister, Catherine.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church with Fr. Robert DeSloover officiating. Burial was made in St. Bernard's
Catholic Cemetery.
The Secor Funeral Home, New Washington, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Bernard Catholic School Endowment Fund.
