Walter G. Stockmaster, age 68, of New Washington, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born on August 4, 1952 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Anthony and Rosalia (Frisch) Stockmaster.

Walter was a 1970 graduate of Attica High School, the last class to graduate before the school district became Seneca East. He was a lifelong Farmer who also worked at RR Donnelley's for 38 years as a Hoist Driver. Throughout his farming years, taking care of the baby calves was what he enjoyed the most. Walter was known for his sense of humor and love of farm life. He was a lifetime member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in New Washington and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Walter is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Teresa "Terrie" (McCamey) Stockmaster, whom he married on April 21, 1990 at St. Michael's in Findlay, Ohio; four children, Brian A., Andrew R., Ashley R., and Amanda L. Stockmaster; three brothers, Eugene (Ruth) Stockmaster, Robert Stockmaster (Darlene Stuart) and Charles (Sandi) Stockmaster; two sisters, Gertrude McPherson Carter and Marilyn (Paul) Stahl; aunt, Mary Frisch; mother-in-law, Dolores McCamey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his sister, Rita Strecker; and father-in-law, George "Elmer" McCamey.

Family and friends may visit at the Secor Funeral Home in New Washington on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in New Washington from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Walter's funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. with Father George W. Mahas officiating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery in New Washington. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Bernard Catholic Church.
