Clarence F. Stockmaster, age 84, of State Route 61 South, died unexpectedly Monday morning in Mansfield General Hospital.

He was born February 26, 1903 in Norwich Township, Huron Co.,Ohio, the son of Edward and Julia (Wechter) Stockmaster.

Mr. Stockmaster is survived by his wife, Mary (Schell) Stockmaster, whom he married om May 26, 1951; 3 sons: Fred, Michael, and Mark all of Shelby; 1 daughter, Theresa Stockmaster of Mansfield; 2 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Sylvester of New Washington and Anthony of Attica.

He was preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister.

Mr. Stockmaster was a former employee of the Wilkins Air Force Depot and a retired custodian at the First Christian Church. Prior to that, he had been a farmer.

He was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church and the New Washington Knights of Columbus Council.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church with his pastor the Rev. Bernard Kokocinski officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday at the Turner Funeral Home any time after 12 noon, where the family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Christian Wake service will be
held at 8:30 Wednesday evening, and the New Washington K of C will hold a service at 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may made to the Most Pure Heart or Mary Memorlal Fund and left at the funeral home.
