Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Clay Carter officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Perryton.
Mrs. Battin was born April 16, 1926, in Dewey County, Okla. She married J.E. "Bud" Battin on Dec. 7, 1946, in Liberal, Kan.
Survivors include two sons, J.W. Battin and Bill Battin, both of Perryton; a daughter, Judy Beck of Santa Fe, N.M.; two sisters, Bernadine Barclay of Perryton and Shirley Stone of Amarillo; five brothers, Lowell Buxton of Tucumcari, N.M., Hobart Boxton of Booker, Calvin Buxton, Jerry Buxton and Dale Buxton, all of Perryton; and three grandchildren.
The family suggest memorials be to a favorite charity.
