Bernadine Buxton BARCLAY, 87, of Perryton, died Jan. 15, 2018 in Amarillo.
Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 18, at 2 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Joe STEPP officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
She was born Feb. 26, 1930 in Canadian. She married Ernest BARCLAY on July 8, 1950 in Clayton, NM. She was an LVN at the Kengle Hospital for a few years before becoming a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Bertha (Derrick) BUXTON; two brothers, Jack BUXTON and Dale BUXTON; and two sisters, Maxine STEVENS and Nadine BATTIN.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest, of the home; three daughters, Norma Kay CUDD of Perryton, Phyllis CUMMINGS of Spearman and Janie THOMAS of Elk City, OK; two sons, David BARCLAY of Amarillo and Gary BARCLAY of Enid, OK; four brothers, Calvin BUXTON of Lubbock, Lowell BUXTON of Amarillo, Jerry BUXTON of Perryton and Hobart BUXTON of Booker; one sister, Shirley STONE of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to one's favorite charity.
