Eveline Burnet was a daughter of Judge Jacob and Mary Staughton Lynd Burnet, born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1862. Eveline never married and worked in the office of a life insurance company in Cincinnati prior to her retirement. Eveline was a patient at Longview Hospital in Cincinnati when she accidentally fell in her ward and fractured her left femur. Pneumonia quickly followed the accident. Eveline was unable to fight off the illness and died at age 87 in Longview Hospital. Other than her parents, Eveline was predeceased by her brothers Charles and Albert Burnet; sisters Gertrude Burnet, and Caroline Burnet Wilson. Several nephews and nieces survive her.
Eveline was laid to rest in Walnut Hills Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH on October 19, 1949.
