Albert was a son of Jacob and Mary Staughton Lynd Burnet. He was a Civil War veteran, having served with the Ohio Volunteer Cavalry. On January 4, 1883 he married Margaret J. Siefert and they became the parents of Gretchen Agnes (Smith); Harvey Albert; and Luella. Luella predeceased her parents.

Albert died of a cerebral hemorrhage September 4, 1914 in Cincinnati.

Albert is my husband's maternal 1st cousin, 3x removed.
