Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug 11 at 2 p.m. in the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Minerva L. Hathaway who died Aug. 8 at a local hospital at the age of 75 years.
Mrs. Hathaway was born Oct. 21, 1891 in Red Bluff, California. The former Minerva Miller married Forrest C. Hathaway in Concow, California June 3, 1917. He preceded her in death Sept. 2, 1966. Prior to moving here seven years ago she resided in Chico, California for 10 years. Mrs. Hathaway had been in ill health for some time.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Frank (Edna) Johnson of Milton-Freewater; Mrs. William (Catherine) Mann of Pendleton; Mrs. Herbert (Evelyn) Newell of Chowchilla, California; Mrs. Roy (Julia) McCorkell of Citrus Heights, California; three sons, Donald Hathaway and Allen Hathaway both of Pendleton and Harry Hathaway of Baker; a brother, John Miller of Modesto, California; three sisters, Mrs. Edna McCrosky of Chico, California; Mrs. Cassie Marrithew of Chico and Mrs. Dora Levis of Paradise, California; 21 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
