Lydia was born on June 22 1911 in Goodrich, North Dakota to Christ and Elizabeth (Weber) Stickelmeyer. She had a hard life at home and had a falling out with her dad Christ and left home at age 15. She married Matt Becker in Carrington, North Dakota on October 13 1926. She was only 16 years old. They had 3 children, Lloyd, William and Luella. In about 1939 she left her family to find a new life. She ended up living in Spokane, Wa. till her death on January 3 1952.
