Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Pentecostal Holiness church for Mrs C.V. (Elizabeth) Elliott, 74.
Rev Louis Gibbs and Rev James Cross conducted the services. Music was furnished by a mixed quartet. Pallbearers honorary & active, were grandsons and great grandsons. Mrs Elliott was born 1/3/1890 at Scandia, KS and had resided in the Tuttle community for 23 years. She was a housewife and a member of the Pentecostal Holliness church. She had been in ill health for several years and had resided at a nursing home in Chickasha, where she departed this life, Feb 16th. Survivors include the husband, C.V., of the home, 3 sons, Brooks of Herlong, Calif, Dale & Clyde of Mustang, 6 daughters, Mrs Thelma Anderson & Mrs Lucille McCarthey of Tuttle, Mrs Marjorie Shelton of Copperas Cove, TX, Mrs Julia Beck of Oklahoma City, Mrs Bessie Cummings of Lawton, & Mrs Virgie Bridges of Kermit, TX, 2 brothers & 2 sisters, 29 grandchildren, & 8 great grandchildren. Interment was in the Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of the Sowers funeral home.
