Charles S. Rusk, 83, died unexpectedly of a heart attack in the home of his son, John A. Rusk, 26 North Twenty-First street, at 11;45 p.m. Thursday. The son is captain of traffic police. Born in Tippecanoe county, he was a farmer near Stockwell for many years. He retired nine years ago and lived with his son since then. He was married in 1905 to Avanelle Anderson who died in 1945. Surviving are five sons, John, Charles, Walter and Cecil all of Lafayette, and David of Rosenberg, Texas, a daughter, Mrs. Randall Todd, Ladoga, and two brothers, Oliver of Lafayette, and Earl of Dayton.
