Frankfort - David Otis Rusk, 55, an Insurance salesman for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, died at 5:30 AM Sunday in Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis. He had been ill 17 years. Mr Rusk resided at 558 Outer Drive. Born at Dayton, he lived at Rosenberg, Texas, before moving to Frankfort in 1959. In 1943 he was married to Carrie Williams, who survives. He was a member of the first Methodist Church at Rosenberg. He was a Coast Guard Veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theater. Surviving with the widow are a son, Donald Eugene Rusk at Frankfort; one daughter, Mrs Karan McKee of West Laayette; a sister, Mrs Walter Todd of Lodoga; and three brothers, Charles Rusk of Sebring, Florida, John Rusk of Lafayette and Walter Rusk of West Lafayette. Friends may call from 3-5 pm and 8-9 pm Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home, Frankfort. Services there at 10 am Wednesday, the Rev Raymond Brown officiating. Interment Green Lawn Memorial Park. Also Surviving is one grandson, Brian Michael McKee of West Lafayette. One sister and a brother preceded him in death.
