Mrs. Rosa Belle Shuster, age 62 years, died Wednesday morning at her home in this city. She had suffered many months with a chronic internal affliction which necessitated operations and hospital treatment but only temporary relief was given. Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church by Rev. Jewell Nelson and Rev. Norman Drake, 2:00 o'clock this afternoon and interment was made in the Huntsville cemetery, the casket bearers were Loy Hawn, J. Clark Hawkins Jr., Kelly Cornett, Albert King, George Ledbetter and Tom Hargis. The arrangements were in charge of the Bruce Brashears Undertaking Co.
Mrs. Shuster was a daughter of the late Willis and Matilda Dotson Phillips, pioneer settlers of the Wharton Creek community. She is survived by her husband, M. I. Shuster, and one son, Freeman Shuster, also by one brother, G. B. Phillips of Little Rock, and two sisters, Mrs. Amanda Yingst of Wharton and Mrs. Hannah Inman of Kingston, all of whom were with her during her last illness and funeral. Other out of county relatives present were Dr. and Mrs. Bert Phillips of Little Rock, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom King of Lequire, Okla.
