Mrs. Amanda E. Phillips Yingst, age 73 years, died August 28. Burial was in the Wharton cemetery, the funeral service being conducted by Rev. Cecil Garrison. The arrangements were directed by the Bruce Brashears Undertaking Co.
The deceased was married to L. H. Yingst October 1, 1870, and is survived by her husband, three sons, Logan A., Jake D. and Joe, and four daughters, Mrs. Rose Hunt, Mrs. Mollie Walden, Mrs. Dora Fullerton and Mrs. Vella Root, 39 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, also one sister and one brother, Mrs. Hannah Inman and G. B. Phillips.
