Excerpt from his obituary. Harry Charles Albright was born in Tyrone, March 17, 1868. He was the son of Christian and Mary. Albright. With the exception of five years, when he resided at Houtzdale he spent his entire life in Tyrone. He was the oldest mail carrier in the town, beginning his service when the mail delivery was inaugurated about fifteen-years ago. On April 7. 1887, he was married to Susan Woomer. His widow survives as do the following children: Raymond of Tyrone. Harry, jr., Mary K., Ronald W. and Wlliam C., all at home. Two of the sons. Raymond and Harry, jr., are members of the Albright Bros the grocery firm of Tyrone, The following brothers and sisters survive John H, Altoona; Frank G Tyrone; Miss Annie Albright, Baltimore Mrs. Joseph Griffin and Mrs Frank Hambright, Tyrone; Charles and Fred, Altoona; Walter, Johnstown, and Mrs. Orien Krebs of California. The deceased was a member of Sinking Spring lodge, Knights of Pythian Tyrone lodge, Royal Order of Moose and the Tyrone Lutheran church.ry Altoona Mirror Sept 7 1915.
