March 30 1905. Tyrone Daily Herald. Edward C Albright died at his home on Blair Avenue just above Eleventh Avenue at 12:30 oclock this afternoon. The cause of death was spinal meningitis and he had been ill about one week, the affliction starting with a severe cold. He was aged 33 years and 8 days. Edward Christian Albright was the son of Christian and Mary J Albright and born in Tyrone on March 22, 1872. All of his life was spent in Tyrone. At the time of his death, he was employed in the store of F.G. Albright.. Five years ago he was married to Miss Effie Lynn who survives him with three little son, Martin, Robert and Charles. His father Christian Albright died April 11, 1890. His mother survives him as do these brothers and sisters John H of Altoona, Frank G and Harry C of Tyrone, Charles, Walter and Frederick of Altoona, Mrs. Joseph O Griffen and Mrs. Frank Hambright of Tyrone, Mrs. Orien Krebs of California, and Miss Annie C. Albright who is a deaconess in the Lutheran Home in Baltimore. The deceased was the first one of the eleven children to die, the death of his father fifteen years ago being the first and only break in the large family before the subject of the sketch passed away. He was kind hearted and an agreeable clerk in the store where customers will remember him as an obliging servant. While his mother will deeply grieve and his sisters and brothers will feel the sharp pang of the first death in the large family of children, the greatest loss is in the home where the young wife mourns the death of her husband and the three little chidlren are left fatherless. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon, the hour which will be given in tommrrows Herald.
