Antonio Casado, 76, of 7296 Eagle drive, Birmingham, former resident of Port Huron, died Monday in Highland Park General Hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Casado was born Dec. 9, 1883 in Spain. His wife, Mrs. Mercedez Casado, died May 21, 1949.

Mr. Casado moved to Birmingham six years ago to live with his daughter, Mrs. Antonia Mericka.

He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mericka, Mrs. Carmen DeCourval, Flint, and Mrs. Isabel Hillock, Tucson, Ariz.; four sons, John G. Carsado, Marysville, Louis G. Casado, Emilio J. Casado and Peter Casado, all of Port Huron; 12 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several relatives living in Spain.

The remains are in the Pollock-Jowett funeral home. Requiem Mass will be sung at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Stephen Catholic church by Rev. Edward DeMars, administrator.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
