FRANCIS JEWISON
Francis (Frank) Thomas Jewison, Sr., 96, formerly of rural Janesville, died Saturday, April 9, 1983, at the Lake Shore Inn Nursing Home, Waseca.
Mr. Jewison was born November 28, 1886, the son of Henry and Molly (Corchran) Jewison, in Janesville Township, Waseca County.
He was united in marriage to Annie E. Chambers, of Waterville, October 17, 1909, in Minneapolis. He farmed all his life, in Janesville Township, Waseca County. He was a former member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Janesville.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 12, at 11 o'clock a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Father Harry Jewison officiated with interment at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gary and Terry Joe Vollmer, James, Steven, Gerald, and Richard Jewison.
Survivors include four sons, George and Charles, both of Waseca, Bruce, Fairfield, California, and Frank Jr., Janesville; and one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Dorothy) Vollmer, Nicollet; 32 grandchildren; and 39 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie on January 19, 1983, one son, three daughters, five brothers, and three sisters.
Arnoldt Funeral Home, Janesville, was in charge of arrangements.
