Funeral services for Carl G. Stenstrom, 63, 314 South 5th Street, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Fred Olson Funeral Home, 1001 2nd Avenue. the Rev. O. Garfield Beckstrand, associate pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Scandinavian Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary between 7 and 8 o'clock tonight.

Mr. Stenstrom, an employee of the city street department for the last 10 years, died at 11:20 a.m. yesterday at his home. Death was attributed to a stroke.

He was born Oct. 10, 1878, in Pecatonica, but had resided in Rockford for 45 years. His wife, Gertrude, died 26 years ago.

He leaves three daughters, Miss Evelyn Stenstrom, at home, Mrs. Jack Hogan and Mrs. Leigh Slocum; two brothers, John and A.E. Stenstrom, the latter superintendent of the city street department; and three sisters, Miss Mary Stenstrom, Mrs. Gusta Phelps and Mrs. Edward Carlson, all of Rockford. Another sister, Miss Emma Stenstrom, died two and a half years ago.
