John Stenstrom
John Stenstrom of 612 Oak Street, a resident of Rockford 23 years, died yesterday morning at 4 o'clock at his home, after an illness of ten days duration.

He was born in Sweden April 7, 1836, and came to the United States in 1876, settling in Pecatonica where he resided until 1899 when he came to Rockford to live. He had enjoyed good health up until 10 days ago.

He is survived by seven children al of Rockford: Mrs. Augusta Phelps, Mrs. E. Carlson, Misses Emma and Mary Stenstrom, John, Emil and Carl Stenstrom. He also leaves eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the late residence Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Carl Solomonson officiating. Burial will be in the Scandinavian Cemetery.
