Virginia WORSFOLD, 91, of Marshalltown, died Monday, July 18th, at the Colonial Manor in Zearing while in their care and her loving family. Iowa Hospice cared for her on this last journey. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 22, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in the Timber Creek Cemetery south of Marshalltown.

Born Virginia Lee MORLAN on June 24th, 1920, in Pollock, MO, she was the daughter of Roy Bennett and Ethel Leota ALTISER MORLAN. She received her education in Missouri.

Mrs. WORSFOLD was a wonderful mother who will be fondly remembered for her love of family, family gatherings, her hospitality and making sure everyone was fed. She will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: 3 sons; 3 daughters; 4 step-daughters; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her 2 sisters and 2 brothers as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In death, Mrs. WORSFOLD rejoined her parents, daughter Patsy CONRAD, step-son James Dale WORSFOLD, sons-in-law Jerry BROWN and James MOORE, sisters Ruby HARTKE, Thelma Geraldine HIGGASON, Loretta Alveta McPHERSON, brothers James Henry MORLAN; Raymond Richard MORLAN; Wayne Edward MORLAN in infancy, her former husbands: Gordon E. SNYDER, Garrett BETTS and James Charles WORSFOLD and a step-grandson James WORSFOLD.BORN MO, a dau of Ray Morlan--Ethel ___; she wed Garrett on 21 Oct 1944
