Nettie Virginia Michael, 79, of Hedgesville, died Monday, July 25, 2005, in Hedgesville.

Born Aug. 29, 1925, in Morgan County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Jerry Franklin and Grace Fox Householder.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Allen Michael, in 1997.

She attended Mount Garfield School in Morgan County.

She worked in housekeeping at Coolfont Resort and Valley View Nursing Home, both in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

She was a member of Johnsontown Bible Church in Hedgesville.

She is survived by one son, Richard E. Michael of Hedgesville; four sisters, Dorothy Beeler, Anna Michael, Frances Taylor and Alice Hobday, all of Berkeley Springs; one brother, Walter Householder of Hedgesville; nieces; and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Homer Householder, Raymond Householder and Freddie Householder.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, Berkeley Springs. Lay Minister Dirk Hughes will officiate. Burial will be in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will open at 9 a.m.
