HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Homer Franklin Householder, 79, of Hedgesville, died Friday, March 28, 2003, at his home.

Born Sept. 11, 1923, in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Jerry F. and Grace V. Fox Householder.

He attended public schools in Morgan County.

He was employed by Eddie's Tire Service, retiring in 1986.

He was a Protestant.

He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1483 of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

He is survived by two sons, Danny T. Householder of Shenandoah Junction, W.Va., and Randy L. Householder of Inwood, W.Va.; five sisters, Nettie V. Michael of Hedgesville, W.Va., and Alice L. Hobday, Anna Michael, Frances J. Taylor and Dorothy J. Beeler, all of Berkeley Springs; a brother, Walter L. Householder of Hedgesville; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Roger F. Householder, and two brothers, Raymond E. Householder and Freddie Householder.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, Berkeley Springs. Raymond G. "Dirk" Hughes will officiate. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Berkeley Springs.

The family will receive friends Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will open at 9:30 a.m.
