Born October 8, 1930 at Ridge, WV, she was the daughter of the late Jerry Franklin and Grace Viola Fox Householder.
She was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church in Berkeley Springs. She attended the Mt. Garfield School and Berkeley Springs High School. Frances worked seasonally at local canneries and at Capital Records and O’Sullivan’s, both in Winchester, VA. She was a Charter Member of South Morgan Volunteer Fire Department. She was a homemaker. Frances enjoyed quilting, canning, flower gardening and puzzles and loved her dog “Rocky.”
Surviving are her children, Phyllis Marie Heironimus and her husband Calvin, Betty Miller Lubin and her companion Rick Keller and Sandra Lee Michael, all of Berkeley Springs, Steven Paul Miller and his wife Cindy, of Kearneysville, WV, three sisters, Alice Lavina Hobday, Anna Rosalie Michael and Dorothy Jean Beeler, all of Berkeley Springs, one brother, Walter Louis Householder of Hedgesville, WV, three grandchildren, Dale Richard Heironimus and Joshua Scott Michael, both of Berkeley Springs, Bryan Curtis Michael of Boston, MA, two great grandchildren, Nolan Reese Heironimus and Abby Marie Heironimus, both of Berkeley Springs and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Nettie Virginia Michael, three brothers, Raymond, Homer Franklin and Freddie Householder and one son-in-law, Robbie Michael.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, WV with Pastor Lloyd McCanna officiating. Interment will be in Union Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
