Mrs. Caroline Morse Henretty, 86, a resident of LeRoy, died Friday, in Reed City Hospital after a six weeks lingering illness. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline Toman. She was born Dec 30, 1880 in Reed City and resided there most of her life. She also had taught school. She was a member of the LeRoy Methodist Church and the WSCS. She attended the Morris school and the Ferris Institute in 1897. She married Colonel Morse on Jul 2, 1891 in Reed City. He died Jul 23, 1936. She was married Oct 1, 1950, to Thomas Henretty, who died in May 1966. She was the last furvivor of a family of 11 children. She had three sisters and seven brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Keith Atto, LeRoy, and Mrs. Ted Retan, Grand Rapids, and one son, Vern Morse, Grand Rapids. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, from the LeRoy Methodist Church, with Rev. Paul Peet officiating. Burial will be a the LeRoy Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call a the J. W. Livingston Funeral Home, Reed City, until time of service.
