MIDDLETOWN - R. Franklin Brandenburg, 62, died at Frederick Memorial Hospital Monday morning.

He was the son of the late George W. and Fannie Wise Brandenburg, and member of the Reformed Church, Middletown.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie R. Cline Brandenburg, Middleton; two daughters, Mrs. Maxine V. Younkins, Brownsville, and Mrs. Gloria L. Rhea, Middletown; one son Wayne F. Brandenburg, Frederick; seven sisters, Mrs. Mary Wiles, Frederick; Mrs. Imogene Orrison, Frederick; Mrs. Mildred Toms, Middletown; Mrs. Lillian Smith, Middletown; Mrs. Ethel Harne, Burkittsville; Mrs. Arline Smith, Walkersville, and Mrs. Erma Green, Myersville; four brothers, Albert Brandenburg, Myersville; George W. Brandenburg Jr., Myersville; Marshall Brandenburg, Middletown, and Melvin Brandenburg, Hagerstown, and four grandchildren.

The body rest at the Gladhill Funeral Home, Middletown, where services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. George Klinefelter of the Reformed Church will officiate.

Interment will be in the Reformed Church Cemetery, Middletown.
