Fallentimber – Cecelia Kuzub, 78, of 243 Shadey Lane, Fallentimber, died Monday, June 28, 2004, at Altoona Hospital. Born Oct. 9, 1925, in Utahville, she was a daughter of Guy L. and Esther C. (Gault) Ball. Mrs. Kuzub was a homemaker and also worked in the logging industry with her brothers. On Sept. 11, 1948, in Wallingford, Conn., she wed Paul Kuzub, who died Aug. 1985. She is survived by two daughters, Shawna Shomo of Van Ormer and Denise Believeu of Vero Beach, Fla.; two sisters, June Maslowski of Punxsutawney and Carrie Stephens of Utahville; and two brothers, Guy of Smoke Run and Wesley of Bellefonte. Mrs. Kuzub was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Paul and Mark; a granddaughter; Kiernin Lee; a grandson Nathan Bachman; a great-grandson; two sisters, Bona Burns and Beryl Eichorn; and five brothers; Walter, Stephen, Thaddeus, Timothy and Dennis. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Roseland Christian Fellowship Church, with Pastor Jon Hommer officiating. Interment will be Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Utahville. Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until the hour of services at the church Wednesday. McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, is in charge of the arrangements.
