Esther Cecelia Ball, 80, of Utahville, Coalport R.D., died Thursday, Feb. 23, at 10 p.m. in Philipsburg State General Hospital. Born April 27, 1908, in Lyleville, she was the daughter of Thurman and Jenny (Penner) Gault, who preceded her in death along with her husband, Guy I. Ball on Sept. 28, 1971; one son, Dennis; two daughter, Bona Burns and Beryl Eichorne; one grandson, Leland Ball; and one sister, Beryl Gault. She is survived by these children, Cecelia Kuzub of Fallentimber R.D., June Maslowski of Punxsutawney, Guy of Smoke Run, Thaddeus, Steven, Wesley and Carrie Stephens, all of Coalport R.D., Walter of Irvona and Timothy of Mahaffey; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; three brothers and one sister; Paul Gault of California, John Ball of Florida, William Ball of Utah and Jenny Bloom of Meriden, Conn. Mrs. Ball was a graduate of Lyleville High School, Class of 1923, and was a member of the Episcopal Believers Tabernacle of Clearfield. Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, with the Rev. John J. Gill officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Clemens Cemetery, Utahville. Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from noon until the service.
