Carrie S. Stephens, 75, Utahville, died Thursday. She was born in Utahville, daughter of the late Guy L. and Esther C. (Gault) Ball. On April 19, 1969, she married John P. Stephens, who died July 13, 1995. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by eight brothers: Wesley, Guy, Thaddeus, Timothy, Dennis, Stephen, Walter and Christy; and four sisters: Cecelia, Bona, Beryl and June. According to the wishes of the deceased, there was no viewing or service. Burial was beside her husband in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Utahville.
