RICHARD J. MORIN
Richard J. Morin, 63, of Gloversville, N.Y., for the past year and formerly of Bennington, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. He was a long-time resident of Schenectady before moving to Gloversville.
The son of John Z. and Adeline (Breault) Morin, he was born in Bennington May 15, 1908 and had received his education in Bennington schools.
Mr. Morin was employed at the Ellis Hospital in Schenectady for many years.
Survivors are six sisters, Mrs. Catherine Roberts, Mrs. Irene O'Grady, Miss Mary Jane Morin, all of Bennington; Miss Alice Morin of Westport, Conn.; Mrs. Rita M. Cole of Meriden, Conn., and Mrs. Thomas (Virginia) Ayer of North Bennington; four brothers, John S. Morin of San Bernardino, Calif.; Gerard J. Morin of Hoosick Falls, John D. Morin of Bennington and Charles J. Morin of Schenectady, N.Y.; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be held at Mahar & Son Funeral Home Thursday at 9:30 am with a prayer and in Sacred Heart Church at 10 where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be offered.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm. Recitation of the Rosary will be Wednesday at 8 pm. Entombment will be in Park Lawn Chapel with burial to be in this cemetery in the spring.
If friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Bennington Rescue Squad through the funeral home offices.
