Mrs Lela May Brandenburg, 90, formerly of Beaver Creek, died at Fahrney Keedy Memorial Home Thursday morning.
Born in Chewsville, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Sarah Palmer Ridenour. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy G. Brandenburg.
She was a member of the Church of the Brethren of Hagerstown and the Altruistic Sunday School Class.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Louise Fishel of Steelton, Pa., and Mrs. Betty Miller of Freemont, Calif., one son, Randolph L. Brandenburg of Hagerstown; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held from the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro Sunday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Newton L. Poling will officiate.
Burial will be in the Beaver Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 7 to 9.
The family requests the Memorials may be made to the Altruistic Sunday School Class.
