Roy G. Brandenburg, 81, Beaver Creek died at the Washington County Hospital, Thursday of heart trouble. He was born in Wolfsville, and was a son of the late Levi H. and Louise
Grossnickle Brandenburg.
He was a member of the Hagerstown Church of the Brethren and had been employed at the North American Cement Co., Hagerstown.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lila Ridenour Brandenburg: three daughters, Mrs. Louise B. Fishel, Harrisburg, Pa.;
Mrs. Jeanette B. Powell, Hagerstown and Mrs. Robert W. Miller, Woodridge, Va., and a son Randolph L. Brandenburg,
Beaver Creek.
Eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Harry Grossnickle, Walkersville; Mrs. Stella Bittle, Myersville and Mrs. Virginia Blickenstaff, Hagerstown and five brothers, Keefer, Silver Spring; Earl, Mechanicsburg, Pa.; Cyrus, Hagerstown; Lloyd, Myersville and Harry, Hagerstown also survive.
The body is at the Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro, where services will be held Sunday, 3 p.m. with Rev. John Gosnell
officiating, Interment will be in the Beaver Creek cemetery.
