Randolph Leroy "Brandy" Brandenburg, 92, of Beaver Creek, Hagerstown, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, at his home.
Born March 14, 1907, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Roy George and Lelia Mae Ridenour Brandenburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vada Stouffer Brandenburg, in 1979.
He was employed as a stationary engineer by Mack Trucks in Hagerstown, retiring in 1972. He previously was employed by Fairchild Industries and Potomac Edison.
He served in the National Guard.
He was a member of First Christian Church in Hagerstown, and was a past deacon.
He was a member of Friendship Lodge 84 AF & AM of Hagerstown; Tall Cedars of Lebanon 95 of Hagerstown; Golden Bulldogs; Funkstown AARP; Mack Retirees UAW Local 171 of Hagerstown, and served as secretary for 29 years; BPOE Elks Lodge 378; and Loyal Order of Moose of Funkstown.
He is survived by a daughter, Janet B. Marshall of Hagerstown; a sister, Betty Miller of Roseville, Calif.; a granddaughter, Teri L. Baker of Boonsboro; a grandson, Philip A. Marshall of Hagerstown; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Fischel and Jeanette Powell; and a brother, Ralph Brandenburg.
There will be no viewing.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at First Christian Church in Hagerstown. The Rev. Fred M. Harris will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
The family requests the omission of flowers.
Memorial donations may be made to First Christian Church, 1345 Potomac Ave. in Hagerstown.
Arrangements are by Osborne Funeral Home in Williamsport.
