Mrs. Hilda Lewis
Funeral services for Mrs. Hilda Amanda Lewis, former Rockford resident, who died Wednesday at Greenville, Mich., will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Wilbur Christenson funeral home, 925 3rd avenue. The Rev. Harold Carlson will officiate, and burial will be in the Scandinavian cemetery.
Mrs. Lewis was born in Sweden April 21, 1890. She spent her childhood here, however.
She is survived by her husband, Fred; three children, Frederick, Leslie and Jean, all of Greenville; five sisters, Mrs. Clara Hasselberg, Mrs. Alma Murphy, and Mrs. Elsie Morgan, of Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Claud Johnson of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. John Nelson of Rockford; and four brothers, Andrew and August Holmberg of Seattle, Fred Holmberg of Chicago, and Charles Holmberg of Rockford.
