Eda was born 29 Oct 1883 in Hånger, Källstad Parish, Östergötlands län, Sweden.

Mrs. A.L. Holmberg, 43 years old, wife of Andrew L. Holmberg and a well known and highly respected former resident of this place, died last Saturday at her home in Detroit, Mich., where she has resided since 1915, her death following an operation for goiter. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Earl and LeRoy of Detroit, two grandchildren, her father, Oscar Holberg, of Washington, four brothers and six sisters. Mrs. Malcolm Anderson of Rockford and Mrs. Enoch Eckburg of Pecatonica are sisters-in-law.

The remains were brought here on Wednesday and conveyed to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Eckburg, where funeral services were held yesterday afternoon, burial in the village cemetery. April 30, 1927.
