Nelson-Mrs. Anna J. Nelson, 87, 201 Williams, died at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, 1964 at Moline Hospital after a long illness. Born Nov. 19, 1876 in Ostergotland , Sweden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl O. Holmberg. Lived 75 years in Rockford, coming here from Sweden. Married to John S. Nelson in Rockford in 1895. He died in 1949. Survivors include: a son, Bert, Rockford; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a brother, Andrew Holmberg, Seattle, Wash., two sisters, Mrs. Clara Hasselberg, Seattle, and Mrs. Alida Johnson, Detroit, Mich.

Services at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2 in FRED C. OLSON MORTUARY, 1001 2nd Ave. with the Rev. Dr. Joseph Conrad, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery. No visitation.
