Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter. Mon. Dec. 10, 1962, p. 20:6. Area Native Dead at 89 in Los Angeles. Mrs. Susan Loehr Rite is Planned in West; Children Survive. Mrs. Susan Loehr, 89, a former Johnsburg resident, died Saturday at her home in Los Angeles. She was born Feb. 24, 1873, at Mt. Calvary, the daughter of Mathias and Elizabeth Walgenbach Hennen. She was married to Henry Loehr at Mt. Calvary in 1892. Mrs. Loehr and her husband operated a general store at Johnsburg from 1895 to 1928, when they moved to Los Angeles. Survivors include nine sons, Arthur, Van Dyne, Alfred and Ambrose, Fond du Lac, Alex, Milwaukee, Vincent, Omaha NE, Walter, Washington DC, and Joseph, Henry and Charles, all of Los Angeles; four daughters, Mrs. Alvin White and the Misses Dorothy, Lucinda, and Martha Loehr, all of Los Angeles; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Brendan's church, Los Angeles, with burial in Calvary cemetery there. The body will be in state at the Cunningham and O'Connor Funeral home, Los Angeles.

Requiem Mass will be conducted at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Brendan's. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Loehr leaves nine sons, Arthur, Alfred, Alexander, Ambrose, Vincent, Walter, Joseph, Henry and Charles; four daughters, Dorothy, Lucinda and Martha and Mrs. Veronica White; 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
