Commonwealth Reporter, Wed. Dec. 7, 1960, p. 28:6. John Hennen Expires At 93; Rites Planned. County Native, Retired Farmer Dies In Hospital; Services In St. Mary's. John Hennen, 93, of 342 Fourth street, a native of the Town of Forest and a retired Town of Fond du Lac farmer, died at 4 a.m. today at St. Agnes hospital, where he had been a patient since June 5. Mr. Hennen was born May 10, 1867, the son of Mathew and Elizabeth Walgenbach Hennen, and on May 28, 1895, was married in St. John's church at Johnsburg to Margaret Andrew, who died Mar. 28, 1940. They farmed before coming to this city in 1906. Surviving are a son, Erving Hennen, city; three daughters, Mrs. James Waring, Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. James Prosser and Mrs. Florence Dillon, city; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Schmidlkofer, Mt. Calvary, and Mrs. Susan Loehr, Los Angeles. Friends may call at the Bidlingmaier Funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be there Friday at 9:30 a.m. and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's church, with burial in Calvary cemetery.

Funeral services for John Hennen, who died Wednesday, were today at 9:30 a.m. at the Bidlingmaier Funeral home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's church, the Rev. Edward V. Theisen officiating. Pallbearers were Roy Hennen, Robert Lutz, Thomas McCarthy, John Zahn, John Fields, and Robert Havey. Burial was at Calvary cemetery. Out-of-town persons attending the rites were from Marshfield, Wausau, Milwaukee, Plymouth, Appleton, Chicago, Ripon and Waupun.
