Reporter. Fri. Apr. 27, 1979, p. 20:3. Funeral services for Alex Loehr, 80, of 825 N. 25th St., Milwaukee, were held today at Schramka Funeral Home, 7841 W. Appleton Ave., Milwaukee, and at St. John's Catholic Church, Milwaukee. He died Wed. Apr. 25, 1979, at Columbia Hospital, Milwaukee. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee. He was born Mar. 13, 1899, at Johnsburg, the son of the late Henry and Susan Hennen Loehr. He attended parochial and public schools at Johnsburg. Mr. Loehr was self-employed and serviced commercial and industrial refrigerators. He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are a stepdaughter, Mrs. James (Vivian) Gonring whose address was not given The Reporter; two stepgrandchildren; six brothers, Alfred and Vincent both of Fond du Lac, Walter of Laguna Hills, Calif., Joseph of Hemet, Calif., Henry and Charles both of Canoga Park, Calif.; and four sisters, Dorothy, Lucinda, Martha and Mrs. Al (Vera) White all of Laguna Hills, Calif. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1969, and by two brothers.
