Ruby D. Cookman
February 20, 1920 - July 27, 1985
Such a unique individual that doesn't complain.
While suffering the most, she reflected no pain.
Thinking not of herself was the lesson we'd learn.
The welfare of others was her only concern.
Her faith in God ever present, foremost and above all.
She was anxiously awaiting his final call.
Who was this lady of such unheralded beauty?
We called her MOM, Dad called her RUBY.
