North Webster – Edith M. Leap, 67, died Tuesday at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne after a brief illness.
A former Anderson resident, she had lived in North Webster since 1955. She was employed by North Webster Product Co. and was a member of North Webster United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Diane Jernigan and Patricia Snook, both of North Webster; a son Russell Roland of El Segundo, Calif.; a stepson, Cornelius Hart of Petersburg, W. Va.; a brother Carl Maddox of Anderson; two sisters, Blanche Barnes of Anderson and Ruby Cookman of Phoenix, Ariz.; 5 grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 11am at Harold E. Rozelle Funeral Home. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday at Harris Funeral Home in North Webster from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 pm. In addition, there will be calling hours at Rozelle's from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm on Friday.
