E A Carter Service Held at Kosciusko
Edward Asbury Carter, a resident of Kosciusko for the past 35 years, died Monday, March 29, at age 64. He was service Manager of the Chevrolet Company in Pickens, Ms.
Funeral services were held March 31, 1976 in Kosciusko, with interment in Parkway Cemetery there.
He was born at Van Vleet, Jan. 3, 1912, the son of Morris Alma and Mary Peden Carter. He was married to the former Josie Bacon, who survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Eddythe C Kuknle, Anchorage, Alaska, one son, Thomas E Carter of Clarksdale. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Thomas and Mrs. Ester Ashby, both of Houston and two brothers, Hugh Thomas Carter of Greenville, Tn., and M A Carter of Houston, and six grandchildren.
Jordan Funeral Home of Kosciusko was in charge.
