On April 11, 2002 Was a sad day for Johnny. His dear Juanita passed away. Johnny selected a burial plot for her in the Gail Cemetery, Gail, Borden County, Texas. Johnnie gathered his family close around him to, at her grave side, to bid his beloved Juanita to "Rest in Peace."
U.S., Social Security Death Index confirms that Johnny Kite died on Aug. 23, 2006 in Gail, Borden, Texas. He is buried next to his dear Juanita, where they both Rest in Peace.
