Zora Alice McPherson
SWEETWATER - Zora Alice McPherson, 97, died Sunday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Charles Reece officiating. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery.
Mrs. McPherson was born in Mohawk, Tenn., and lived in Snyder before moving to Sweetwater in 1942. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church. She married Byron McPherson in 1922 in Snyder; he preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sisters, Nelta Macy of Big Ben Lake, Calif., and Hily Savage of Abilene; two brothers, Johnny Kite of Gail and Billy Fred Kite of Odessa; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
