Arthur Sample

FORSYTH, MT. --- Arthur L. Sample, who died Monday, owned and operated
Art's Tire Service in Forsyth for 23 years, retiring in 1972.

He was a member of Forsyth Yong Men's Club and a past director of the Forsyth Horse Show.

Mr. Sample, 55, died of a heart attack in Forsyth.

Born on Slaughterhouse Creek in Rosebud County, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Sample.

He spent his entire life in Forsyth except for military service in the Army during World War II.

He married Melva Cartwright.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mark (Linda) Hubbard of Forsyth; three sons, Calvin of Boulder, Mark of Colstrip, MT., and Curtis of Forsyth;
a brother Earl of Forsyth, eight sister, Mrs. Edna Flanagan of Sheridan, WY., and Mrs. Opal Landreth, Mrs. Margaret Shrimplin, Mrs. Ethel Byerly, Mrs. Edith Schmidt, Mrs. Elsie Hein, Mrs. Eva Miller and Mrs. Elma Rogers all of Forsyth.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Beald Mortuary.

Burial will be in Forsyth Veterans Cemetery, Forsyth, MT.
