FORSYTH, MT. --- George A. Sample, 55, Forsyth, died Monday in Plains MT.

He was born June 9, 1920, in Forsyth, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Sample.

He attended local schools in Forsyth.

He married Phyllis Johnson in Forsyth.

Mr. Sample served in the United States Army during World War II.
After his discharge from the service, he returned to Forsyth and worked for Rosebud County.

In 1952 he moved to Huson, MT., where he worked construction.

Survivors include three sons, Albert E. of Frenchtown, MT., Roanld J. of Huson, MT., and Danny L. of Reno, NV., one daughter, Debra Marie Sample of Frenchtown, MT.
eight sisters, Mrs. Edna Flenigan of Sheridan, WY., Mrs. Opal Landreth, Mrs. Margaret Shrimplin, Mrs. Ethel Byerly, Mrs. Edith Schmidt, Mrs. Elsie Hein; Mrs. Eva Miller and Mrs., Elma Rogers all of Forsyth, MT.
two brothers Earl A. and Arthur L. both of Forsyth; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Beals Mortuary, the Rev. Gary
Russell of the Wesleyan Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in the Forsyth Veterans Cemetery, Forsyth, MT.
